@mat: Yes, indeed. This main street is very much a Dublin "Las Ramblas" though with not as many buskers as in that famous Barcelona street.

Yes, he is real, just standing on a platform to make himself taller. There are many like this, "human statues", who stand quite still in poses for a long time.
