The Obvious from Murfreesboro, TN, United StatesWoderfull picture, indeed. Great capture, great timing, great colors, too. However, I would have prefered it to be a little wider (panoramic), thus giving it a bit more effect. Also, it may be this monitor that is not calibrated, but I think your balcks aren't that black, which takes a little away from the overall greatness of this photo. Again, great timing! I envy you ;) 31 May 2007 7:02pm @The Obvious: Thanks for the detailed constructive comments. I was using a telezoom at around 200mm hence the lack of a panoramic wideness. Will try a wide-angle the next time. The point about the blackness is also well taken. In trying to concentrate on the optimal for the rays effect, I had not attended to this aspect. Will do some selective PS work. Shrig from Edison, United StatesSo lucky for you to have seen that kind of sunset. :) Amazing picture. Wide angle lens would have added a lot, but its still a beautiful shot. :) 1 Jun 2007 11:29pm @Shrig: Thanks, shrig.
